Last week we moved into a wonderful old house which some dear friends of my family offered to us for a couple of months. What's better - they are letting us do some renovation work on the house for them in exchange for rent. Dream come true.
The best part? It gives us some time to process where we've been and where we're going. Always a good thing.
We still aren't sure where we'll "land" next but are very thankful for this sanctuary during the transition time. Hopes are high that the next place we move will be somewhere we can land for a while - we're getting too old for all this running around! Well, tired anyway.
We got to their house late this afternoon in time for the end of an (iced) tea party! Ansley had my cup full and ready - and my was it sweeeet! Best cup of tea I've ever had.
After the tea party we were off to the nearby Belton Lake for a quick spin on my parents jet skis. So. Much. Fun.
This has been a good week. We've been able to slow down just enough to catch our breath and remember our names. So thankful for God's provision at this time and excited about all the possibilities before us.
