It snowed heavily all morning; even Geoff can't remember seeing such huge snowflakes before - and he grew up in Colorado near Wolf Creek Pass - they know snow! This is reportedly the biggest snowstorm in 30 years to hit Jerusalem.
We briefly weighed the risks of driving into the storm to get pictures of the Old City, but got over the dilemma quickly - we weren't missing that chance. We had a great morning running all over town, taking pictures, meeting fun people, being pelted with snow balls, and getting our clothes and gear almost completely soaked. We had a great day, and I've had lots of hot tea!

early enough to have the roads mostly to ourselves - or maybe others thought it unwise to drive....whatever.
Unfortunately, the snow hid the English today...good thing I had a translator on board!
