A few of the pictures I took, but most of them were taken by the kids when I let them use with my little digital camera. They love taking videos, in particular (I hope to have some of these up sometime), and almost always drain the battery within an hour but have a lot of fun with it. In general they do a good job being careful with the camera but even if it ends up destroyed, it's already way worth the fun they have had playing with it and the photos I've gotten that they've taken!
In the photos, pay attention to their resources for play. A flat, cheapy basketball they got ahold of was a huge highlight one day. Another day, an old, heavy, oily rope turned into a jump rope and they had a blast learning how to use it. There is a construction project going on nearby, and for whatever reason they dump their gravel and dirt in the kids already limited space, but they consider all resources opportunities for play! The dirt mound has allowed many softer falls for flipping, wrestling, digging, and burying. Ahhh, the simple joys of childhood are universal blessings! I want to be more like them.
