Last night, Geoff and I travelled to Jericho where the current group is staying. We needed to help out with a few things going on and there was an extra room available so we stayed. Jericho is only about 30 minutes from Jerusalem, but we thoroughly enjoyed the time "away" with the group. The big, beautiful bed we got to sleep in didn't hurt, either...
Today, the group's first stop was Bethany, located on the other side (from Jerusalem) of the Mount of Olives, and the site of Lazarus' resurrection. There are so many cool, Biblical insights I learned just today from Geoff, but they're better coming from him (so I'll try to talk him into posting on that soon). In this case especially, things really do come to life in this land!
So there you have it, a brief insight into group life and our crazy, never know what's coming next, life.
Life is good.
